Meet Leeanne Carrol; Community Member Spotlight | NOVEMBER ‘24

The Power Haus Women Community is a dynamic space where female entrepreneurs come together to connect, collaborate, and grow. This network offers opportunities for members to engage through networking, peer support, and leadership development.

The Community Member Spotlight, awarded monthly, celebrates members who actively contribute and inspire others. These women showcase leadership, participation, and the core values of Power Haus Women. The spotlight is a recognition of their commitment to fostering a supportive and empowering community for all.

We’re thrilled to present our Community Member Spotlight for November 2024; Leeanne Carrol, from Astoria, Queens.

Leeanne’s dedication to this group shines through in everything she does. She is always showing up, supporting others, and radiating positivity. Leeanne has become an integral part of our growing community, and we’re so grateful for her contributions. For our first Power Haus Women Annual Retreat in Charleston, Leeanne went above and beyond. She hand-crafted personalized bracelets for every attendee and included the sweetest notes in their swag bags. Her thoughtful touches and unwavering support truly embody the spirit of connection and collaboration that Power Haus Women is all about.

Fun fact: “I didn’t leave the country until I was 22 and my first trip was to Hong Kong where I lived for a month!”

Quote I live by: “Sometimes, you just need to be reminded that the best parts of you are formed amidst the hard things you wish away. Keep going.”

A Big Goal I Have: “Keeping a positive mindset! I always try to take a optimistic approach and look on the bright side of things, and aim to continue to do so each day and work towards being happy! I’ve found that setting that little daily goal for myself sets me up better for success in many areas of life and surrounding myself with supportive, positive people. the PHW community has introduced me to so many women who are and do just that! Professionally I want to continue to foster my creative side through my love for interior decorating and working on building my side business!”

Ask for help and advice! I was guilty of having a mindset that asking for help was a weakness, but the more I’ve pushed myself to do so or just have more conversations with others and utilize the network of people in my life, the more I’ve learned and it has always almost led to something positive. Even if I don’t necessarily take it, hearing other people’s perspectives, opinions and feedback I have found to be a huge benefit and eye opening to approaching so many different aspects, as I’ve been working to start and build up my side business. Lean on those who have walked before you and their experience!
